Audra and Helder’s Same Week Edit
When I met Audra, we just clicked on so manny levels… the idea of having an intimate beach wedding far from the rest of civilization was just up my ally. After spending 3 days with her family on a practically deserted island, my imagination couldn’t come close to the reality of what was Audra and Helder’s dream wedding.
Helder is from Brazil and he had his sister stand with him during the ceremony, she didn’t know a lick of English, but that didn’t stop her from having fun. Audra surprised Helder when she read her vows to him in Portuguese, get the tissue box out, this part is a tear jerker! Audra’s parents; Eric and Dee shared the exact same ceremony location on Dog Island in 1979. Eric Farewell, from Blue Shoe Photography, is Audra’s cousin and shot some amazing photos of the weekend. This movie was shown a week after the ceremony at Audra and Helder’s much larger, home town reception. The movie was previewed with all reception guests, just before the couple made their grand entrance. This family, like all families, has a beautiful story to tell. Enjoy!
